Development Chemist (Water)

    We are currently seeking a Development Chemist to join our dynamic
    Laboratory team within Queensland Alumina. This is a great opportunity to

    Role responsibilities:

    • Commit to improving water quality throughout QAL
    • Provide technical support to water sampling , analysis and reporting systems
    • Effective management of chemical water treatment systems
    • Monitoring of field, on line and laboratory based analysis systems
    • Detection of water quality issues and recommendations for
    • improvement

    Skills required:

    • Degree in Chemistry or related field (minimum)
    • Minimum five (5) years experience in field based or laboratory based water management role
    • Experience liaising with water producers and users in an industrial environment
