The Company
My client is a prominent property organisation with a portfolio comprising of high grade commercial and retail assets. They are currently seeking a technically qualified Engineering & Operations Manager to o versee a large and prominent Shopping Centre.
The Role
You will be responsible for the day to day running of the site, including managing the everyday maintenance and operation of building services as well as an onsite team. This will include ensuring high levels of presentation and cleanliness at all times, supervising all on-site contractors, ensuring adherence to OH&S at all times, dealing with tenant requests, overseeing budgets and fit-out works, carrying out inspections and ensuring that the assets are in good working order.
The Person
You will need to have a technical mechanical/electrical background and have demonstrable experience within the Facilities Management industry. This will ideally be in an Operational role within the retail environment. Excellent communication skills are essential.
