Procurement Co-ordinator in Manufacturing Jobs

Established for t wenty-five years and admitted into the Australian Export Awards Hall of Fame in 2009, our Toowoomba based client (Russell Mineral Equipment Pty Ltd), is the acknowledged world leader in a specialist category of mining equipment.

Based at the global Head Office and reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, in this role you will supervise the Procurement Team to achieve cost reduction and DIFOT (Delivery In Full On Time) targets for internal and external customers.

This will involve managing day-to-day operations relating to: the procurement of raw materials and goods & services in a timely manner; vendor management & monitoring vendor performance; vetting purchase contracts & preferred supplier arrangements; and related reporting.

It is anticipated that your in-depth experience and detailed procurement knowledge, underpinned by your proven relationship management skills and ‘people and process’ focus, will position you well to lead the transformation of the existing purchasing function into a true procurement function.

Supervisory experience and proficiency with MS Office and an ERP/Warehousing Application is required. Relevant formal qualifications, experience within a manufacturing, production or spare parts environment will be highly regarded.
