Are you an experienced logistics professional with detailed knowledge of warehousing and dispatch functions? Do you have strong organisational and people management skills? Can you demonstrate your highly developed communication and interpersonal skills and attention to detail?

Establ ished for twenty-five years and admitted into the Australian Export Awards Hall of Fame in 2009, our Toowoomba based client (Russell Mineral Equipment Pty Ltd), is the acknowledged world leader in a specialist category of mining equipment.

Based at the global Head Office/Warehouse and reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, in this newly created role you will supervise the Warehouse and Dispatch Teams to achieve inventory accuracy and DIFOT (Delivery In Full On Time) targets for internal and external customers.

This will involve managing the day-to-day operations of the dispatch, warehouse and stores facilities, inlcuding: staff supervision & development; the processing of deliveries entering & shipments exiting the warehouses; real-time entry of transaction data; stock allocation; the safe, efficient storage of inventory; cycle counting; packing; workflow monitoring & refinement; and related reporting.

Your high level knowledge of warehousing and dispatch systems, proven ‘people and process’ approach and capacity to operate efficiently within a deadline driven environment, will underpin your success in this challenging role.

Supervisory experience and proficiency with MS Office and an ERP/Warehousing Application is required. Relevant formal qualifications, experience within a manufacturing, production, spare parts or export environment will be highly regarded.
