Our client is a leading provider of global fleet services with exciting growth forecasted for the immediate future.
Based in Brisbane this is a pivotal role within the operation which is accountable for leading the development and implementation of strategies to improve safety and operational performance in all aspects of the fleet management.
In this role you will be required to ensure the safe and efficient provision of specialised trucks to meet customer requirements including all fleet and workshops are achieving a minimum of A, B and C level servicing of Fleet Trucks and Vehicles as well as ensuring ad hoc breakdown support and emergency repairs are performed timely. Development of a preventative maintenance program and resourcing this business wide need is another key area of the role. Where possible you will identify and implement strategies to improve safety, budgetary and cost management targets. You will drive growth through effectively utilising existing assets. Overall you will manage all aspects of the short and long term strategic and operational planning for your depot operations.
To be successful in this role you will possess Trade or Tertiary qualifications with significant Mechanical/Transport experience. Additional you will have commercial experience relevant to the transport and logistics industry as well as a high level of commitment to occupational health and safety.
