The Datastage Developer is responsible for the development for Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) solutions to meet the business needs of our clients and provide technical leadership and management of ETL project or outsourcing team members. This role works closely with our clients to deliver, maintain and troubleshoot, and enhance BI functionality. They add value to the Solutions organization and Nationwide Delivery Network through their expertise, their skills and their knowledge of the toolset, application of this toolset for Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing solutions, and through their constructive teamwork with our clients and peers.
Senior resources will lead implementation for additional data sources into the existing HHS-Connect Common Client Index using IBM DataStage and MDM. This role includes: working with agency clients to understand legacy data sources, facilitating data governance discussion, and implementing the new data sources into the CCI.

- Minimum of 2 years experience with design, development and test of ETL jobs
- Minimum of 2 years experience experience with IBM DataStage v8.01/7.x/6.x including DataStage manager, design, administrator and director.
- Minimum of 2 years experience Experience with IBM Quality Stage for data profiling, standardization, matching and survivorship
Preferred Skill Requirements:
- Experience with IBM Information Analyzer to perform column analysis, primary key analysis and foreign key analysis
- Experience with IBM Master Data Management
- Experience Data Modeling
- Experience working with UNIX and Solaris
- Experience with various data sources, including Oracle 11g/10g
- Experience in all stages of the SDLC
- Experience analyzing legacy data bases, data marts and data warehouses
- Experience leading teams and dealing directly with clients to develop system requirements.
- Experience in addressing production issues, such as performance tuning.
