A leading owner operator has engaged Judd Farris to source an experience Training and Development Team Leader to join their new open cut coal project in QLD. This is a new role with a new team, you will not be stepping into anyone else's shoes and will be given the opportunity to make the role your own. This is an exciting time for our client as they are in a heavy ramp up phase before this huge project turns operational in early 2013.
The Role :
Reporting directly into the HR Manager your duties will include but not be limited to:
·Implement, monitor and review the business competency based training and assessment system
·Implement and manage business training system including inductions for all employees, graduates and apprenticeships for both head office and site.
·Develop specific programs that will benefit indigenous and local community employee participation and training
·Coordinate and track all learning activities
·Manage the roll out of any new learning initiatives
·Ensure all employees receive the business and industry inductions
·Contribute to the implementation of an oversees entry level program aligned with Australian standards
·Indigenous participation and training program implemented
·Training delivered to plan and within budget
·100% accuracy of training records for all employees and contractors
·Report on monthly training initiatives progress and training undertaken
·Continually track training expenditure against budget
The Candidate:
·Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
·Proven experience in implementing and managing training outcomes within the Black Coal Mining Industry in QLD is essential to be submitted and considered for this role.
